Q. How long have you been raising dogs?
A. We have been raising dogs on and off for over 10 years. However, we have been involved in raising and training dogs a lot longer, since early childhood. Both our families have been deeply passionate about canine companions. So you might say raising family companions for the betterment of the breed is a family tradition!
Q.How do you pick dogs to place in your breeding program?
A.We place only top quality dogs that represent the best of the breed into our breeding program. All potential breeding dogs undergo an extensive medical evaluation and assessment prior to breeding.
Q. What diet do you feed your dogs?
A. We feed our dogs, both puppies and adults, Royal Canin diets. Due to frequent recalls of other dog food brands, including hollistic diets, we have determined that it is one of the most reliable on the market. Our dogs love the food and thrive on it, and this is the most important determining factor in the choice of the diet. We also add high quality vitamins and supplements. Please fee free to contact us about more information on diets and supplementation.
Q. How old are the puppies before they are ready to go?
A. We normally place puppies into their new homes when they reach 8 weeks of age. Each individual puppy developmental needs are our top priority when it comes to deciding when they are ready to join their new families, therefore the ages might vary slightly from puppy to puppy.
Q. Are your dogs registered?
A. Yes all our dogs are registered by a variety of kennel clubs.
Q. Do you potty train puppies before placing them into new homes?
A. Yes we begin potty training puppies before they go to their new homes, however all puppies learn on their own time, and some will be more trained than others. It is important to keep in mind that the bladder control of a young puppy is not fully developed due to the size and will improve as the puppy matures and grows. Consistency is the clue when it comes to potty training your puppy. It is important to develop and maintain a consistent feeding and potty schedule to successfully develop the appropriate reflexes in your puppy.

Q. How soon can I meet my puppy in person after he/she has been born?
A. For the protection of our puppies from an extensive number of environmental dangers, and to insure the least stressful weaning experience for the little ones and for the mom, we can only schedule appointments to visit with your puppy after puppies have received their first vaccinations and are at least 5 weeks of age. We are here to provide any information, pictures, and videos of your puppy before they are old enough to meet and greet in person! :)
Q. How and when are the puppies vaccinated? What types of vaccinations do puppies receive?
A. We strongly believe that vaccinations should be done by a professional trained to do so in a professional environment. Therefore, all puppies are vaccinated by our veterinarian. Puppies receive their 1st set of Distemper/Parvo vaccine at 6 weeks of age. It is important to continue the vaccination schedule as determined by your veterinarian until expected immunity is acquired. The puppy exposure should be limited until then.
